Newton's Rings (LT-2117)
Two pieces of glass, one ground flat and the other with a slightly convex surface, are clamped together within two plastic/metal rings. Varying tension on the rings produces interference rings. Demonstrates the precision attained in grinding flat glass surfaces. Aperture 30 mm, outer dia 60 mm.

Newton's Colour Disc (LT-2118)
To demonstrate that white light is composed by all seven spectral colours. It comprises a multicoloured card or tin sheet about 200 mm diameter mounted on a metal stand, driven by a hand wheel. When the disc is rotated rapidly it gives impression of white, thus demonstrating that ‘white light is composed of all spectral colours’.
Newton's Colour Disc (LT-2119)
Same as above, disc dia 150mm economy model.
Newton's Colour Disc (LT-2120)
Same as but fitted with bench clamping device instead of fitted on stand, belt driven.
Laurent's Half Shade Polarimeter (LT-2121)
It consists of two polaroids (one used as polariser and the other as analyser), a laurent's half shade device and a 200mm observation tube of glass. The polariser and the half shade are fixed at one end. The analyser at the other end can be rotated along a circular scale graduated 0-360° with a vernier reading to 6 min. A fine motion tangent screw is provided for fine adjustments.
Polarimeter Tube (LT-2121/1)
Glass Tube with centre bulb, metallic screw caps & cover glasses, length 200mm.
Polarimeter Simple Type (LT-2122)
This instrument is designed to make an elementary study or optically active substances. The polarimeter consists of two polaroids (polariser and analyser), a nessler's cylinder as a solution tube, a (12V, 21Watt) lamp, a rotatable mirror (to use external light source) and a circular scale (graduated in degrees) at the top to make the measurements.
