It is a class room demonstration kit for qualitative investigation of nature of mass and making students understand distinction between mass and weight.

Kit comprises two metal trays 130 x 50 mm held 200 mm apart approximately on spring steel strips attached to the sides. Or tray has holes to take three equal mass cylinders approximate) (L x D) 100 x 25 mm each. The other tray acts as anchor and ma be clamped to the bench either horizontally or vertically. Variable Inertia Bar   (MC-1134)

It is to demonstrate to students that the torque necessary to accelerate a flywheel depends on its moment of Inertia rather than its mass. A steel bar 12 mm dia x 785 mm long is mounted at its centre on a sleeved spindle. The spindle is extended through a sleeve so that ; bar may be rotated by means of a weight and string. Heavy adjustable bobs are mounted on each end of the bar and may be clamped at desired position enabling the inertia of the system to be varied as required.

Consists of a full length metal upright 245cm long graduated in cms, to be mounted vertically near a wall by means of two brackets. A light weight accurate frictionless wheel of 10cm dia is mounted on it's top. Three adjustable clamps move along the rod. Upper carrying a ring and lower carrying a platform and the third is equipped with electric release system. The unit is all metallic and complete with two sets of falling weights and rider weight.
