Boyle's Law Apparatus   (MC-1228)

Two glass tubes 220mm long x 8mm bore one closed at the top and other open. Lower ends of two glass tubes are joined by 1 meter of pressure tubing. Both tubes mounted on sliding brackets lockable in any position on metal support rods. Polished wooden stand with graduated scale 0-100 cms, with mms in centre and figured every cm on either side. Supplied without mercury.

Boyle's Law Apparatus   (MC-1230)

With facility to connect or disconnect Jolly's Air bulb to use it as apparatus for carrying out experiments on gas laws or Boyle's law respectively. Mounted on wooden stand with heavy iron base, overall Ht. 1.25 m boxwood scale 0-100 cm. graduated in mms. reading in both directions. Sliding clamp enable a glass air tube 200 mm long and closed at one end to be fixed alongside either the upper or lower portion of the scale, vertical clamping rod carrying holder for the mercury leveling tube with open end. A jolly air bulb 65 mm is supplied which can be slotted to the side of the stand to use it as Jolly's apparatus. Apparatus is supplied with pressure Rubber tube, but with out mercury. Boyle's Law Apparatus, Demonstration   (MC-1234)

This apparatus is designed to demonstrate to students that volume of air enclosed in the column is clearly visible to students. A wide bore glass tube is mounted vertically in front of a scale graduated 0-60 cm. Zero corresponds to the inside of the closed top end of the tube. Air is confined in the tube by a coloured oil contained in a metal container fitted with a Bourdon type gauge. A tap is fitted to the side of the metal container, for the air inlet tubf from the pump. As the pressure in the oil container is increased, oil is forced into the glass tube and volume of contained air and its actual total pressure are directly indicated. The tube is of extra strong glass having very large safety overload margin. As a further precaution, a safety plastic screen is secured over the front. Overall ht. 690 mm approx. Foot Pump   (MC-1235)

A standard car pattern with an integral pressure gauge from 0 to 4 kg/cm2 and rubber tube adopter. The pump has a cylinder and provided with integral pressure tube and standard type valve connector.

Bourdon Gauge   (MC-1236)

A 100mm dia pressure gauge, 0-50 lab/in and 0-3.5 kg/cm calibration, mounted on base through vertical pillar with si( serrated tube, for pressure pump.

Air Pump Vacuum   (MC-1237)

Fixed on polished wooden base, single barrel made of steel pipe with stopcock. Pump plate made of aluminium dia (a) 15 cm (b) 20 cm (c) 25 cm.

Pump Plate On Stand   (MC-1238)

Plate made of Aluminium, with tube for connection to the pump and a stopcock on the central pillar. Mounted on tripod heavy base.

Comprises an electric bell 3-6V, enclosed in a Glass Bell Jar 225mm high, 15cm dia, with ground flange, fitted with suitable cork and terminals on top.

Magdeburg Spheres   (MC-1241)

Cast Iron or Brass fitted with stopcock and handles. Two metal hemispheres having removable handle and stopcock to a vacuum pump. This demonstrates atmospheric pressure.

Bromine Diffusion Kit   (MC-1242)

With the help of this kit diffusion of bromine through air or vacuum can be demonstrated.
