Vande Graff Generator, Hand Driven (ES-3501)
This is a hand driven generator mounted on wooden base. Consist of two Aluminium spheres of dia 150 mm and 75 mm for charge collecting and discharging purpose, respectively. Both the spheres are removable. The discharge sphere is supported on pivoted arm. The large sphere surrounds the upper part of the charge generating belt assembly and charge accumulates on the sphere, when the hand wheel pulley is rotated. The charge generating belt is mounted on a insulated vertical pillar provided with metal brushes. A 4 mm socket is provided at the top of large sphere.

Vande Graft Generator, Motor Driven (ES-3502)
This is meant for automatic generation of electrostatic charges equivalent to 200 Kv for a spark length of 75 mm (Approx). The unit operates on 230 V, 50 Hz mains supply. The charge is transferred from generator to the metallic sphere of dia 150 mm, surrounding the belt mounted on upper pulley. Earth sockets of 4 mm dia has been provided. A separate discharging sphere mounted on a insulated stem is also provided for discharging purpose. The discharging sphere may also be mounted on laboratory stand with base.
Accessories Set (ES-3503)
1. Transparent plastic spheres. 2. Faraday's pail 3. Perspex cylinder with metal cap 4. Head of hair 5. Point discharger 6. Electric whirl 7. Neon bulb.
Whimshurst's Machine (ES-3504)
The two plates are supported in two rigid uprights and driven by belt in opposite direction. They are heavy, high resistance plastic with sectors of aluminium sheet. Two Leyden jars (condensers) made from glass and aluminium foil. The whole is mounted on a wooden base nicely polished. a) Black/Transparent plate dia. 200mm b) Black/Transparent plate dia. 250mm c) Black/Transparent plate dia. 300mm
Proof Plane (ES-3505)
This is for collecting small amounts of charge from a charged body. Made of a copper disc mounted coaxially on a 120 mm long perspex/ebonite rod. Disc dia a) 18mm b) 25mm c) 50mm
Sphere Conductor (ES-3506)
For experiments on electrostatic induction chrome plated brass-sphere diameter 50 mm (Approx) and mounted on an insulated stand.
Cylinderical Conductor (ES-3507)
As above but in cylinderical shape, dia 50 mm and length 125 mm (Approx.), mounted on an insulating stand.
Brass Cone (ES-3508)
Consists of a hollow cone and a hemisphere length 120 mm, diameter 50 mm. The sharp end is rounded to make good contact with a proof plane. The unit is mounted on a stem made of insulating material. The other end of the stem is mounted on a base.
Elecrophorus, Simple (ES-3509)
A plated metal disc of 50 mm diameter, mounted on ebonite handle, length 90 mm and a small brass sphere. The charging plate is bakelite/plastic disc 10cm dia in wooden sole. This is an ideal unit for producing electrostatic charges for electroscope experiments.
Conductors, Set of three (ES-3510)
Three Conductors, comprising sphere 50mm diameter, cylinder 125 x 50 mm and cone 100 x 50 mm (length x maximum diameter), interchangeable on an insulating stem over metal base.
Pair of Insulated Spheres (ES-3511)
This is to explain the effect of ionisation on a spark gap. The spheres are made of brass and has maximum diameter of 38 mm (Approx.), mounted on insulating rod. 4 mm sockets are screwed in the sphere. Spheres are mounted on insulated stands.
Biot's Conductor (ES-3512)
To show that the charge transferred to a conductor resides on the external surface of the conductor. Consist of pair of Brass hemisphere 50 mm diameter, fitted with insulating handles, hollow sphere with a hole in the centre mounted on a insulated stand.
Discharging Tongs (ES-3513)
Consist of two small spheres each mounted on a arc & fitted over an insulated handle made of bakelite rod.
Discharging Tongs (ES-3514)
Same as but gap of spheres is adjustable.
Faraday's Ice Pails (ES-3515)
To explain the equality of charges produced by electrostatic induction Consists of 4 metal pails in graded size. Dimension of largest pail 120 height x 150 mm diameter. The pails case placed co-axially in one and other and insulated from each other.
