Meterological Screen, Stevenson (MC-1274)

This screen is to shield thermometers from precipitation and direct radiation from external resources, while it allows air to circulate freely around thermometers. Thus a near uniform temperature enclosure is created at the same temperature as of outside air.

This has louvered white painted hardwood, (white paint helps to reflect radiation) to accommodate wet and dry bulb Hygrometer and maximum and minimum thermometers etc. It has ventilation from beneath with louvered doors supported by two chains. Internal dimensions 450x400x240 mm Ht x width x depth.
