Open Wound Solenoid

This simple solenoid is to explain the electromagnetic field
outside and inside a solenoid. A heavy gauge copper wire,
wound and mounted on wooden base and provided with
4mm sockf terminals. Suitable for field demonstration using
iron fillings o using a small compass needle. Overall
dimensions: 330 x 260 x 87mm. Solenoid current carrying
capacity is 10 Amp. |
