To show that pressure of liquids depends upon their height
of the columns and not on the capacities of the vessels.
With four vessels of different shapes. A pillar with rod is
mounted vertically on a wooden base. The four vessels of
different shapes with screw fittings supplied, can be
attached on a support (one at a time) which is open from
the bottom. Below this a lever is provided, on , one end of
which weights can be added and on the other end a disc,
on which the liquid in the vessels exerts the pressure. A
pointer indicates the level of liquid. |
