Resonance Apparatus

It consists of a tube 100cm long, 25mm dia mounted on a
stanr which is fitted with leveling screws. The lower end of
the rubber tubing provided is connected to the 500ml
reservoir which slides on a metal rod and can be raised or
lowered for adjusting the length of column of air. It is used
to measure the velocity of sound . waves in air at room
temperature by using a tuning fork. |
